Privacy & Cookies
How we handle your data.
NURA ShipCo Management keeps data collection deliberately light. This notice explains what we collect, the cookies we set, and the choices you control.
Last updated: July 2026
Who we are
NURA ShipCo Management is a third-party ship manager based in Singapore, SG, and is the data controller for this website. Our clients and visitors are global, so this notice reflects both Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For any privacy question or request, contact us at business@nurashipping.sg.
What we collect
- Contact form. When you write to us we receive the name, email address, and message you submit, so we can reply. That is all — we ask for nothing you do not choose to send.
- Aggregate site usage. Anonymous, aggregate figures (page views, referrers, country, device) via privacy-friendly analytics, described below.
- Standard server logs. Our host records technical request data (IP address, user-agent, timestamps) transiently for security and to serve the site.
We do not sell your data, and we run no advertising or cross-site tracking pixels.
Cookies & similar technologies
The site sets no cookies until you allow them. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) so we can honour it.
Analytics in detail
We use privacy-first analytics that run by default without cookies — they count visits in aggregate and cannot identify you or follow you across sites.
We also use a third-party analytics provider in consent mode: by default it sets no cookies and does not identify you. Accepting the Analytics category enables cookies and fuller measurement; declining keeps it cookieless. You can withdraw at any time via cookie preferences.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of reputable providers for hosting and security, privacy-friendly analytics, embedded video, and email delivery. Each processes only the data its function requires, and we do not sell your data. Of these, only our analytics provider sets cookies — and only with your consent.
Legal basis for processing (GDPR)
- Consent — for analytics and marketing cookies. You give it through the banner and can withdraw it at any time; withdrawing is as easy as giving it.
- Legitimate interests / your request — to answer a message you send us, and to keep the site available and secure (spam protection and short-lived server logs).
International data transfers
Some providers process data on servers outside your country, including the United States (for example, some analytics and email providers). Where personal data leaves the EEA or UK, those transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Retention
Contact-form correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting relationship. Aggregate analytics are retained per each provider's standard retention. Server logs are short-lived.
Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and withdraw any consent you have given. Under the GDPR you additionally have the right to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Under Singapore's PDPA you have equivalent access, correction, and withdrawal rights. Email business@nurashipping.sg and we will respond promptly — we will not make exercising these rights difficult.
Changes
We may update this notice as the site evolves. Material changes to how we use cookies will reappear the consent banner so you can choose again.
